- Who owns the designs?
The design and artwork produced by Colourful Coffins remains the exclusive property of Colourful Coffins and is licensed exclusively to the Customer in perpetuity for the Customer's personal use only. - What about copyright for some characters such as Disney or 007, or for Premier League club colours?
We're always very careful to seek copyright approval from the right authority. Many organisations are very sympathetic to our requests, but if permission isn't forthcoming for any reason, then we work with the family to come up with a suitable alternative. - How much does a Colourful Coffin cost?
Because we only sell directly to funeral directors, we don't typically divulge our prices. However, we can say that the cost of a Colourful Coffin is on a par with a typical pine coffin. - How environmentally friendly is a Colourful Coffin?
We feel very strongly about the environment and do everything we can to adopt a green approach. As such, Colourful Coffins only use paper-based wraps and environmentally friendly inks. Working with Climate Care, we have also recently become the first company within the UK funeral trade to offset the greenhouse gas emissions on every coffin sold for cremation – equating to 215 kg of CO2 per coffin. - What if my funeral director doesn't offer Colourful Coffins?
In this case, please contact us and we would be happy to contact the funeral director on your behalf. Alternatively, you can find more funeral directors in your local area using our online stockist locator.
