Child Funeral Charity is a result of like-minded people, linked to the funeral industry, talking about their experiences of trying to support families arranging a funeral for a baby or child. Discussions revolved around the financial pressures, emotional stress, and difficulties families in such situations encounter. They realised there was a gap for an organisation who could help provide that support and decided to do something about it.

SAIF was established in 1989 to support independent, mostly family owned funeral directors, concerned about the proliferation of larger conglomerates. We currently have more than 970 members across 1,500 sites, as well as an additional 100 Associate members who supply products or services to the funeral profession. National Society of Funeral Directors (NAFD)

Established in 1905, the National Association of Funeral Directors represents more than 4,100 UK funeral homes nationwide, UK and overseas suppliers to the profession and overseas funeral firms. NAFD role is to provide support and guidance to funeral firms to maintaining the highest standards throughout the funeral profession and the bereaved families in their care.
